Little baby Sophie

Sophie is getting so big! I've been documenting her 1st year pretty much. How can you not love taking pictures of such a beauty? These were her little easter pictures :) Enjoy!

March Mini Sessions...running out of time!

The first day of mini sessions went very well! I am working on the pictures as I type this (I'm taking a break) and wanted to remind all of you that next Saturday March 15th I have a few spots left. They are shorter sessions, same great pictures, free 8x10 and 20% off print order! I am also designing some easter cards if you are interested in those.

Are you having a baby soon?

We are going to start adding birth photography. It will be super tasteful (no shots showing the stuff the dr's are seeing), capturing emotions, and photograph those first few hours of life of baby and family bonding. Don't worry about your own camera... focus on getting that baby out and dad helping out....
The rate will be determined but it will be super affordable.
For those first 3 births we book, we will give you 24 custom designed birth announcements.

Pet photography!

So check this out... we are partnering up with a super awesome pet boutique in La Mesa and will be doing short little 10 minute sessions for spring. It can be just your pet or you and your pet. The date will be on a Saturday in April (tentative right now) and you will receive a 5x7 for only $10!! How cool is that? You can purchase cute little outfits in the shop, bring your own, or just have your dog be al-natural.
The coolest part: We will be doing this frequently AND down the line be creating a calendar for the shop you can purchase! If you are interested in reserving your spot, please email me hillary@stillsbyhill.com and we will save you a spot.

March Mini Sessions!

As promised, here is a super amazing fantastic offer for those spring and Easter portraits you need done. We will be set up at a local park in Santee and you will reserve your spot by paying in full prior to the day you pick. Man, I really love children. They have so much energy, spirit, ideas and just plain cuteness. I did a session at a local school today where the kids all brought items to be photographed with that reflected their interests. Of the "music" group, I got this super fun shot that I saw and just LOVE! I can't believe the fun that comes from this image alone!

Watch Montel tomorrow!

This isn't the news I was having you come back for but I ran across this today and I am SO excited and proud of my friend Rachel from Glamour Gals, Inc.... she has been on Oprah, in magazines and is in school text books. Check out her website for more information on her non-profit but let me tell you--it is amazing. We met through our youth group back in 1998 and have kept in touch since then and I have seen her company grow.
Anyway she will be on Montel Williams tomorrow 2/22 and I am so proud of her! Tune in if you can!

Weddings: Jennifer and Mike (La Jolla shores)

Here they are! Thank you for coming back and viewing these :) This is the wedding of Jennifer and Mike. The ceremony and pictures were at La Jolla shores by the Bridge Club. It was very casual but very romantic :) Their little one was TOO CUTE and I loved taking pictures of him!

Yesterday I shot the wedding of Jennifer and Mike who are from Missouri. They had a destination wedding here in San Diego and I was honored to be hired to photograph their beautiful wedding. I am still editing tons of pictures, but here's a quick teaser....

Back from Cabo!

Well, I survived my first cruise to Cabo. Well, my first cruise ever! My dad took the whole family (except my husband cause he had to work :( ) on a 4 day Carnival cruise to Cabo. It was fun... I would have had more fun if my husband were able to come but I understand. My nieces had a blast and it was fun spending time with my girls. In Cabo we spent the day playing on the sand and getting burned :( Then after some sea sickness, we got back to enjoying our trip.
Here are some of the MANY pictures. I used my 5d and my 50mm 1.4 (only used my 580 flash at the kids dance party). I love having a lens so OPEN!
